BMPT accepts self-managed and plan managed NDIS clients.

If you have decided that you wish to commence your child in Play Therapy, please email your child's NDIS plan to us when making contact so that we can familiarise ourselves with their needs and goals.
Filial Therapy
Family therapy that:

gives parents the skills to conduct play therapy sessions at home.

supports families to strengthen their relationships.

helps caregivers to become more attuned to their child and so learn to understand their child and their emotions better.

develops secure attachments between children and caregivers.

helps to decrease child and/or family problems and prevent future ones.

Filial Therapy supports many concerns and has been used successfully with foster families, reuniting foster children with their parents after being in care, families that have experienced the death of a parent, military families, single-parent families, and blended families.
